Chapter 13: Group 8, all members wiped out

Lin Ze was the last of the three to finish registering.

After they came out, Zhuang Yi immediately stepped forward and said, "We've all been assigned to the North District, what about you?"

"Thank you for your help." Lin Ze said his thanks and knocked on the door.

"Come in."

The three of them pushed open the door and went inside, where they saw Pan De sitting behind his oak desk, smiling at them.

To their surprise, Pei Xuan was also there, sitting opposite Pan Bo, and it seemed he had been there for a while.

"I was just saying the three of you should be here soon, please have a seat."

After the three were seated, Pan Decai continued:

"It's quite a coincidence that the four of you were all assigned to the North District. But that's good, since you're all graduates from the same year and know each other well, you can look after each other in the future."

"Yes, Captain Pan." Jiang Lei nodded slightly, then turned to Lin Ze and the other three. "Let's go, I'll show you around."

The four followed Jiang Lei out of the office and walked down the corridor to the other side of the building.

"Shouldn't Captain Pan have told you about the situation in Group Eight?"
