"Let's welcome the two teams to the 2024 Demacia Cup Finals."
The venue's sound system amplified the voice of host Zhou Chenyu.
"AL, top laner Flandre, jungler Tarzan..."
As soon as he finished speaking, the lights in the AL players' area suddenly turned on, and applause from the AL fans in the audience followed.
"IG, top laner TheShy... bot laner Chunfeng, support Meiko."
When he read Mu Chun's name, he smiled and waved to the audience.
After the host finished speaking, everyone quickly sat down in front of the computer one by one.
"Ouch." Mu Chun plopped down in the chair.
"What are you doing? Don't be nervous, it's your first time playing in the finals." Meiko glanced at him.
Mu Chun logged into his account, adjusted the equipment, and smiled, "Are you kidding me? You think I'd be nervous?"
"Today, I will impersonate AD and lead you to victory."
"Don't do this..." Meiko said.
Jiejie interjected, "How much have they drunk? Isn't the coach going to do anything about it?"
Rookie leaned closer and sniffed. "No smell of alcohol. It's fake."
Daeny didn't understand their conversation at first. "Mu Chun, you've been drinking? When?"
"I didn't drink it, they were just joking," Mu Chun quickly explained.
He then stretched his wrists and asked, "Who did I solo today?"
"Me," TheShy said softly.
"OK," Mu Chun replied, but felt a little regretful.
He actually preferred Rookie to solo so he could watch from the sidelines and pass the time.
Soon, the solo side selection began.
The two teams facing off are TheShy and Flandre.
After the BP process, both sides simultaneously selected the aircraft.
In the end, TheShy won the solo match.
"Blue, blue," Daeny immediately signaled to the referee.
In the commentary booth, Guan Zeyuan announced, "Okay, in the end, IG chose the blue side."
"Let's go into BP."
"IG banned Nocturne, Neeko, and Akali."
"AL banned Skarner, Rumble, and Ahri."
Gugu immediately chimed in, "In that case, AL has released the rabbit."
"Furthermore, IG didn't ban Sivir, so Azir and Cassiopeia might be harder to pick," MaoMao analyzed.
"Let's get Vivo," Daeny said from behind.
After research, Coach Tabe seems to prefer prioritizing jungle and support champions to ensure synergy between them. Picking Vi first to gank and engage in jungle skirmishes gives them an advantage.
On AL's side, Tabe spoke up from behind Flandre, "Let's take Quesanti and Lo first."
"IG picked Vi first, but why isn't AL picking Rabbit?" Guan Zeyuan wondered.
Looking at AL's hero selection, Mu Chun said, "This means we can only take Twisted Fate or Akshan."
AL first picked Quesanti, a tanky champion, and couldn't possibly leave out the rabbit. Once they got it, paired with Tsar or Cassiopeia, Quesanti, with his full magic resistance, would be completely unkillable.
One hero selection resulted in the banning of two of his heroes.
"Then let's go with the rabbit and the card. We'll keep Akshan for now. They don't know about this hero yet, and you can still bring out your other heroes," Daeny said.
Mu Chun nodded and hummed in agreement.
"Oh, a rabbit plus a card, that must be a bot lane card."
"That depends on what AL chooses. There are quite a few heroes available outside, like Corki and Kalista," Guan Zeyuan said.
Mao Mao interjected, "But Shanks should get it first, since there don't seem to be many heroes left."
"I picked the monkey, but I still wanted to give Tarzan a hero first," Guan Zeyuan said later.
In the second round of bans, AL banned Poppy first to prevent Rakan and Wukong from entering the game.
IG banned Orianna, further limiting the champion pool for the mid lane.
With the last ban, Tabe spoke up from behind the players, "How about we ban Galio? Their Twisted Fate combo with Galio worked quite well last game."
The AL members all nodded in agreement.
"Ban the planes, don't let them burn them down," Mu Chun said.
They have already confirmed the dual C strategy, but the AL dual C strategy is unclear. It is unlikely that the planes and Kalista will be released together, but it is very likely that they will burn the planes that can swing in the middle and lower regions first.
"Okay, IG banned the plane in the end, while AL picked Kalista first," Guan Zeyuan said.
TheShy said in the voice chat, "I'll play a tank, okay?"
"Orn, Lenata?" Daeny asked.
Meiko nodded. "Okay."
"Ornn or Lenata, it's up to Shanks to choose," Momo said.
Guan Zeyuan chimed in, "But now there aren't many heroes left, so it depends on whether AL wants to burn Chunfeng's heroes first."
Seeing AL's last move, Guan Zeyuan raised his voice, "Victor! AL is trying to use a force field to restrict where the card lands."
The final lineups for both sides have been finalized.

"I think we should switch lanes this game," Mu Chun said.
"Switch lanes? I'm all for it," TheShy replied.
Daeny chimed in, "We absolutely have to start first. We're good at starting group buys, okay?"
"Resource map, they're here. Let's take them down first and start the raid," Meiko said.
OK.
Before stepping down, Daeny said, "We focused on attacking the flanks and maintained a very stable control."

[Host detected to have selected a non-AD role hero; random talent selection is in progress...]
[Congratulations, host! You have obtained a random talent: You're here for free!]
[You'll always have a general talent that allows you to gain something when you coordinate with your teammates to gank or vice versa.]
[Friendly reminder: From small minion waves to major victories, everything counts as a gain!]
The effect of this talent perfectly aligned with Daeny's strategy.
There will definitely be some gains, even if it's just one or two minion waves, it's still a profit for the card player.
After all, you get at least one more last hit than others, and you're basically born with an extra extraction.
Welcome to Summoner's Rift!
"Alright, this is the first game between IG and AL," Guan Zeyuan announced loudly.
The cheers and shouts of encouragement from the audience rose and fell.
As soon as the game started, Mu Chun controlled Twisted Fate and Meiko's Lena Tower to head straight to the top lane, hiding in the mid bush to wait for the minion wave.
Seeing this, Guan Zeyuan said, "Both IG and AL have chosen to switch lanes."
In the image, Cardcaptor Sakura and Lenata are hiding in the grass, while Kalista and Quesanti are in the river.
"It seems like AL is losing out by switching lines like this," Mao Mao said, somewhat puzzled.
Guan Zeyuan nodded: "It was a loss. IG basically wanted to lane against you in the first few games, which is why AL switched lanes."
"You can choose whether to switch to this version or not, but switching lanes is definitely worthwhile."
"In fact, this switch is better for him. Top laners need to gain experience, and by sharing lanes with the AD carry, he has a lead in experience."
"But TheShy went straight to the bottom lane, so AL would be at a disadvantage in that trade."
At 1 minute and 40 seconds, the minion waves converged.
Luo appeared first in the middle lane.
As Rookie retreated, he called out, "Rakan is in the middle lane."
TheShy then spoke up, "There's no one in the bot lane."
"Then we'll leave it here," Mu Chun said.
Then, Quesanti and Kalista emerged from the riverbed.
