Chapter 3 The Gap in Strength

Chapter 3 The Gap in Strength

"Be careful, they might try to tower dive," Mu Chun kindly reminded the top laner.

"Tch." The top laner scoffed, his tone disdainful. "You should take a look at your lane first; it's a complete mess."

At this moment, the top lane minion wave was completely blocked in front of the tower by TheShy's Vayne. Anyone who went up would just get whipped around. However, Mu Chun noticed that the increase in the number of minions meant that TheShy would soon be unable to block them anymore.

This is a pushback wave; he just needs to wait for the minion wave to return.

The top laner, however, was the one who suffered.

His sword demon had just reached the bottom lane's first tower when four burly men surrounded him and protected him beneath the tower.

"They've switched lanes, TheShy," Rookie said in the team's voice chat.

TheShy didn't respond, but he had already pushed forward, so he couldn't hold the lane anymore. He went up to find Azir to help him maintain his health and prevent Mu Chun from having an easy time.

"Let's get rid of him."

On screen, Aatrox was knocked back by Vi's Q punch, and then Rookie's Sylas closed the distance with his second attack.

She was hit by two crowd control abilities and then by Sylas's passive attack twice, while Vi used her three-hit passive to reduce his armor.

Immediately following, Lenata used her Q to immobilize and pull him, and Kalista followed up, stabbing Aatrox repeatedly with her spear, finally using her E to pull the spear out of Aatrox's body.

"Damn it..." The top laner slammed his hand on the table, wanting to say something but ultimately shut up. Mu Chun had already warned him, but he hadn't listened.

As soon as Mu Chun arrived at the top lane, he glanced at the minimap and saw that Vayne had disappeared. The jungler was farming in the top half of the map, and the support Bard was also on his way. "Can the jungler come? Vayne is camping me."

"Okay, I'm coming right away." The jungler abandoned the red buff he was halfway through farming and headed towards the top lane.

"I can get there too," the assistant interjected, Bard already waiting by the wall.

Seeing his teammates arrive, Mu Chun finally felt relieved and stepped out of the turret, only to run into Vayne emerging from the bushes.

Vayne rolled out of the bush with her Q, and just as she was about to unleash her basic attack, she suddenly stopped, baiting the sand soldiers.

Mu Chun wasn't in a hurry. He wouldn't release the sand soldiers unless Mu Chun attacked him. He simply controlled the Tsar to attack Vayne in a nonchalant manner.

Vayne made her move very quickly.

A white halo appeared beneath the Tsar's feet, and Mu Chun also released two sand soldiers, who stabbed Vayne together.

Vayne attacked again, then used her E to knock Azir back. At the same time, three auras exploded under Azir's feet, and he used his Q to roll out of the sand soldiers' attack range.

Vayne's E didn't knock Azir against the wall. The moment it ended, Mu Chun immediately followed up with an EQ dash and hit Vayne.

The sand soldiers' spears stabbed Vayne repeatedly, stacking Deadly Rhythm.

Theshy immediately realized that Mu Chun had someone behind him, but it was too late.

Bard, the support, had already emerged from the portal, and Xin Zhao, the jungler, appeared in the field of vision behind Azir.

Cosmic Binding hit Vayne, stunning her in place, and then Xin Zhao used his E to dash towards Vayne.

W slows him down, and the third Q knocks him into the air.

Vayne was completely unable to resist and her sinful life was ended by Mu Chun under the attack of the Sand Soldiers.

Shut Down

"Nice, thank goodness he didn't buy any more items." Mu Chun's Azir was already low on health; if TheShy hadn't left without buying more items, he wouldn't have survived.

Mu Chun devoured a large wave of minions, then pushed the wave under the tower before recalling to base.

"This Tsar is pretty fierce. Is he really from the youth training program? No team wants him now. It can't be, right, Song Yijin?" Meiko said doubtfully in the All Gods Class's voice chat.

Rookie doesn't remember Mu Chun. He was already at V5 when Mu Chun came to IG, so naturally he didn't know. "I don't know. I wasn't even at IG when he came."

"It's okay, it's okay. No matter how strong he is, he's still just a Tsar. We'll just kill his teammates and not let him get to the late game." Jiejie immediately directed the subsequent strategy.

The competition was progressing in the direction that the All-Star team had envisioned.

Ultimately, the skill gap was too large. Teammates were killed one after another, and all the dragons and worms were released. Fifteen minutes had passed, but the score was already 23 to 2.

With no late-game advantage, Mu Chun immediately realized that even with the [Midas Touch] buff that allowed him to develop quickly, he was still thirty CS ahead of GALA.

But now the full-god team has already pushed onto the high ground, while he has only just finished building Nashor's Tooth and Rylai's Crystal Scepter, so he is dealing no damage at all.

"One wave, one wave!" GALA exclaimed the moment the super minions arrived. He hadn't made any contribution so far, just riding on his teammates' momentum, and was even down 30 CS to his opponent.

However, he is not a player who cares a lot about individual performance. He just doesn't want to wait for Mu Chun's Tsar to get three items, because then it will be difficult to deal with.

The other four teammates shared the same idea, aiming to quickly end the game while they had the advantage.

"We're going to lose." Mu Chun's teammates sighed resignedly.

"I'll go up and give it a shot, otherwise, since we're going to lose anyway, I might as well give it a try."

"Fine, fine, it's all the same anyway."

Mu Chun immediately marked the positions in front of the five members of the All-God Class, "Jin here, I'll go for Jin."

The assistant nodded, "Okay."

Then, Mu Chun placed sand soldiers to poke Jiejie's Vi, each hit slowing her down with the Ice Staff.

He then pressed EQ, and the Tsar quickly approached Jiejie.

"He's going to drive, please help me out," Jiejie immediately said.

Instantly, the rest of the teammates followed.

"Hmm"

A golden halo appeared beneath the feet of the four people, followed by a beam of golden energy.

"Bang!"

GALA and TheShy both used Flash.

Rookie and Meiko, who didn't have Flash, were frozen in place by Bard's R, their bodies shimmering with golden light.

As the yellow sand swirled, the sand soldiers lined up behind the Tsar, pushing Vi back to her teammates before she crossed the wall of the Imperial Guard to reunite with them.

The moment Wei landed, Jiejie immediately pressed R to lock onto Mu Chun.

Vayne and Kalista immediately followed behind.

The teammates' development was already poor, and in addition, Mu Chun's Azir only had two pieces of equipment, so the damage was not high.

Vi was left with only a sliver of health until the stagnation effect on Sylas and Lenata disappeared.

With just that sliver of health, Meiko immediately pressed W, and Vi's health bar instantly turned gray and began to decrease rapidly.

Vayne and Kalista's damage output instantly killed Syndra in the mid lane, saving Vi.

Sylas used his ultimate ability (R) and swung his chain at Mu Chun, stealing the Azir's ultimate.

Then, the second E pull brought Bard next to the Tsar, and the Sand Soldiers appeared, lined up in a row.

"Bang!"

Mu Chun used Flash, but Bard had already been pushed back and died in the focused fire.

Aatrox and Xin Zhao also attacked each other under Lena's ultimate, but were taken down by Vayne and Kalista.

Mu Chun could not withstand the offensive, and the sand soldiers' fierce thrusts only managed to replace Wei.

As the base exploded, Mu Chun took off his headphones.

"Congratulations, Mu Chun." The assistant took off his headphones, a wry smile on his face. "We should pack up and go."

Esports is brutal. Today's training match will definitely spread among all the teams. Mu Chun's performance means he's already sure to be wanted by any team.

However, their age and talent were not enough to even qualify them for the LDL, and they were completely eliminated.

"Mu Chun, come out here, the new coach wants to see you." A voice rang out from outside the training room.
