Chapter 33 Patrol
"Why not use a 30mm cannon and a heavy machine gun? Don't you love overwhelming firepower?"
Ouyang Nian didn't quite understand Lorraine's idea.
"Wait a minute."
Lorraine's voice came from the passageway.
A short while later, Lorraine came up carrying a Lynx anti-material sniper rifle and a submachine gun.

Lorraine spread a canvas on the table and explained as he adjusted the weapon.

Lorraine explained and demonstrated at the same time.

Lorraine, carrying a sniper rifle and a submachine gun, jumped off the ship. He and Tiangou and Diting quickly disappeared from Ouyang Nian's sight.
Ouyang Nian returned to the cockpit and used the drone to monitor the surrounding area.
Lorraine explained the conditions for choosing a sentry post to the ship's AI, and he is now following Di Ting to the location chosen by the AI.
A short while later, Di Ting stopped in front of a five-story hotel at the intersection. The building wasn't very tall, but it was located on the only way to the pier.

Di Ting went in first to scout, while Lorraine and Tian Gou hid to the side, ready to intercept zombies running out of the hotel building at any time.

After confirming that there were no zombies in the space directly observable on the second floor, Lorraine and the two mechanical dogs rushed to the third floor without stopping.
The same was true on the third floor, and so on until the fourth floor, when Lorin, along with Tiangou and Diting, cleaned all the rooms.
Lorraine found a room with a good view on the fourth floor to use as her sentry post.
"Tiangou, Diting, identify a backup position on the 5th floor, then proceed to the rooftop for observation."
After cleaning the fifth floor, Lorraine set up a simple warning device on the third floor near the top of the stairs using two empty cans and a wire.
After completing all the preliminary work, Lorraine returned to her post, lay down, and sent a message to Ouyang Nian.
"I'm in position, upgrades can begin, and I've taken control of the drones."
After receiving the message from Lorraine, Ouyang Nian initiated the upgrade process for the ship's engine.
The engine upgrade is expected to take 3 hours to complete.
Please do not leave the driver's seat during the upgrade. Vibration is normal and nothing to worry about.
"There are still almost 5 hours until dark, that's enough."
Engine upgrade begins.
After confirming the transfer of drone operation authority, Ouyang Nian continued to improve the drone strike platform and its upgrade plan.
