Chapter 72: The Creation of the Laws: The Great Chaos Scripture!
Chapter 72: The Creation of the Laws: The Great Chaos Scripture!
During his seclusion, Zhen Yuanzi's mind and spirit were completely immersed in a profound and mysterious state of enlightenment, where he forgot himself and the world around him.
He seemed to transform into an ancient deity who existed since the beginning of chaos, standing at the source of his vast path, calmly and clearly surveying the immense "resources" he had gained from his voyage through the East Sea and the Blood Sea with a perspective that transcended time and space.
A deeper understanding of the true meaning of the Earth's Way of "great virtue carries all things," the devouring Dao rhythm originating from the six-winged black mosquito, the profound mystery of the Great Dao of Reincarnation brought by the Six Paths of Reincarnation, the sharpness of gold, the annihilation of ice, the illusion of bewilderment, the decay of corrosion, the destruction of thunder, the condensation of gravity, and other fragments of the chaotic demon god's laws.
And the real-time insights into the power of the Netherworld's deathly stillness and the order of reincarnation continuously transmitted from his clone, the Longevity Sovereign, far away in the Sea of Blood.
These powers and insights, with their diverse attributes, varied origins, and extremely high energy levels, have been initially integrated into the foundation of the Great Dao by him with great perseverance and wisdom, but ultimately they are like different colored patterns inlaid on a precious jade.
It has not yet achieved complete and flawless integration, becoming an integral part of its most fundamental and purest foundation, and there is a hidden bottleneck in further integration and sublimation.
He clearly realized that the Kun Yuan True Scripture, which he originally focused on, emphasizing the essence of Wu Earth and the earth's support, and the Yi Wood cultivation method inherited from the Ginseng Fruit Tree, which leaned towards the vitality of Yi Wood and the nourishment of creation, were both top-tier cultivation methods in the primordial world.
However, it is no longer sufficient to perfectly contain and control this complex prototype of the Great Dao, which encompasses everything, points directly to the origin of chaos, and combines creation and destruction, order and disorder. The old framework of cultivation methods has become somewhat "narrow".
"A new law is needed to unify all paths!"
A clear and firm thought, like the first divine thunderbolt splitting the chaos and darkness, rose up from the depths of his Dao heart, illuminating the path ahead.
He was no longer satisfied with merely repairing, expanding, and patching up the old techniques. Instead, he wanted to rely on his profound accumulation and extraordinary comprehension to create a unique and completely new fundamental technique that perfectly suited his current state and future path!
He takes the most core, fundamental, and unchanging way of the earth as his unshakeable foundation and guiding principle.
The earth, with its profound virtue, is the mother of all things. It is the foundation and destination of all existence and change. Whether it is pure and ethereal energy or dark and turbid energy, whether it is the vitality of creation or the silence and extinction, all things must ultimately return to the earth.
This is the essence of the new law; it is the all-encompassing mind, the solid rock of the path, and the ultimate anchor point for all laws to return to oneness.
He then thoroughly analyzed and refined the essence of the profound Devouring Dao he had obtained from the Chaotic Demon Ape, transforming it into the "application" and "mechanism" for the operation of the new method.
This devouring is not a simple act of plunder and possession, but rather a supreme method of transformation and evolution that "embraces all laws within oneself, transforms external forces into nourishment, and integrates different paths into one's own."
This gives the new law boundless potential and vitality to embrace diversity, integrate various approaches, continuously improve itself, and surpass itself.
Furthermore, the essence of the Earth element in the "Kun Yuan Zhen Jing" and the vitality of the Wood element inherited from the ginseng fruit tree are used as bridges and threads to integrate into the new legal system.
The Earth element provides the most solid structural support and energy source, while the Wood element endows it with inherent creative vitality and evolutionary spirit. The two complement each other, harmonize Yin and Yang, and nurture creation.
This process of inclusion and absorption is not a lifeless accumulation or a brutal covering, but rather an orderly evolution and sublimation full of vitality and creativity.
Finally, the many fragments of laws absorbed this time—the order and cycle of reincarnation, the sharpness and solidity of gold, the silence and freezing of ice, the illusion and the bewilderment of the real and the illusory, the annihilation and penetration of corrosion, the destruction and rebirth of thunder, the condensation and suppression of weight… and so on.
All of them were broken down and their most fundamental principles were extracted and refined, transforming them into the foundation for the "myriad changes" and "manifestations of supernatural powers" within the new legal system.
They are no longer external additions that need to be carefully harmonized, but rather constitute the foundation for the infinite Taoist arts, supernatural transformations, and the ability to interfere with and apply the corresponding laws of heaven and earth that can naturally arise after the new method is cultivated to a high level.
The mind and spirit intensely deduced, collided, experimented, and reorganized in the boundless ocean of Taoist principles.
Countless Dao runes, shimmering with faint light, appeared and disappeared in the sea of consciousness, and countless threads representing different laws intertwined like warp and weft.
His sea of consciousness seemed to have transformed into the primordial chaos before the creation of the world, giving birth to a brand new, unique, and infinitely possible framework of the Great Dao system.
This process was fraught with difficulties. The deduction model often collapsed due to conflicts of laws, or it fell into a stalemate due to differences in ideas. However, Zhen Yuanzi was determined in his Daoist heart and, with his profound accumulation and flashes of inspiration, he revised and improved it time and time again.
I don't know how many failures and reconstructions I've experienced in the meditative state, how much enlightenment I've accumulated over the years and how many moments of inspiration I've had.
Finally, at that moment when quantitative change led to qualitative change and all paths converged into one, a general outline and initial chapters of a cultivation method containing supreme mysteries, every word a gem, as if inscribed by the Great Dao itself, naturally condensed and took shape in the deepest part of his primordial spirit, just as when heaven and earth were first created and the pure and impure were separated.
Deeply imprinted at the very core of his Dao foundation, he cultivated in harmony with him, becoming inseparable—
Its name is: The Chaos Scripture of the Earth!
"Earth" is the foundation, bearing everything; it is the root, the starting point, and the destination. "Chaos" is the image, encompassing everything and evolving endlessly; it is the process, the means, and the ultimate goal.
This scripture has lofty aspirations, pointing directly to the origin of the Great Dao, with the supreme concept of "the earth bearing chaos, and chaos giving rise to all things" as its core.
Practitioners must regard themselves as a nascent, primordial "chaos," and firmly establish themselves at the center with the unwavering Way of the Earth, stabilizing this "chaos" so that it does not collapse and dissipate.
Then, using the Path of Devouring as the hub and source of power, it continuously absorbs and refines the myriad laws, energies, and insights from the outside world (and even those derived from the inner world), incorporating them into its own "chaos," causing it to continuously expand and enrich itself.
From this chaos, all the great Dao manifested naturally, including earth, water, fire, wind, time, space, cause and effect, the cycle of life and death, light and darkness, purity and turbidity, and so on.
The ultimate goal is to cultivate within the body a truly all-encompassing, rule-containing, and self-contained "chaotic world" phantom (not a real creation of the world, but a manifestation of the perfection of one's own Great Dao and the inherent existence of its own rules).
Through this illusory image, one nourishes one's true spirit and Dao body, propelling the continuous improvement of one's Dao realm until one touches the inconceivable Primordial Dao Fruit.
The initial concept of the cultivation method is divided into nine realms, each progressively higher, corresponding to nine key stages on the path of cultivation.
The first three stages focus on solidifying the foundation and constructing the "primordial chaos" within the body, corresponding to the realm from Earth Immortal to Taiyi.
The middle three focuses on refining all laws, enriching the connotation of "chaos", and making it move from its embryonic form to a sense of reality, corresponding to the Great Luo realm;
The latter three stages pursue the evolution of chaos, making the illusory "chaotic world" within the body more perfect, with rules arising spontaneously, corresponding to the early, middle, and peak stages of the Primordial Golden Immortal (i.e., the early, middle, and peak stages of Quasi-Saint)!
Upon reaching the peak of the ninth level of cultivation, one becomes like a small, nascent chaos, impervious to all laws and retreating from all evil. With a single thought, the laws follow, possessing immense power to create grotto-heavens, influence reality, and interfere with the laws of parts of the primordial world.
As for how to break through that final, mysterious barrier and become an indestructible, coexisting, and supreme immortal, reaching or even surpassing in some aspects the level of a Heavenly Saint who attains sainthood by relying on the Primordial Purple Qi.
Zhen Yuanzi already had a vague yet grand idea in his mind.
That is not something that can be achieved simply through arduous cultivation of techniques; it involves deeper opportunities, intervention, control, and completion of the fundamental order of the primordial world (especially the "earth passages" that are closely connected to the earth).
It requires waiting for the right time, seizing the right place, gathering the right people, and... perhaps it has a crucial, even decisive, connection with the mysterious Six Paths of Reincarnation and the primordial tunnels that have not yet been fully revealed.
The ultimate path requires careful consideration.
