Chapter 1413 : Intertwined Hearts

"Won't you say something to me?" asked Shui Xian when he went back inside the house to change into another suit. They were going to toast the guest after this but before that, Raelle had to change into another gown.

"Why didn't you ask me to say something when you were making your heartfelt vows to me in front of everyone?" asked Raelle because now they were alone. What was the point of asking her to make a vow or say something to him now?

"I wanted to take that chance to let everyone know that feelings between us are more real than gold. But as for your vows... Those are only for me to hear. I don't want anyone to be a part of that."

"Tsk. As I said, I really can't compete with you in sweet-talking," said Raelle. As he took off the veil from her head, he looked at her gorgeous face and she held his hand against her face saying, "I don't have any groundbreaking words for you. But I can promise you that as long as you are willing, I'll always hold this hand of yours. No matter how many differences come in life, I'd still find a way to hold this hand tightly. I don't have a habit of letting go so you can rest assured that you are my forever."

Shui Xian was pleased with her words and shared a long and intense kiss with her, ruining her red lipstick. Raelle didn't push him away even when he almost snatched all the oxygen from her lungs, she still couldn't bring herself to push him away.

When Shui Xian pulled away, he looked at her misty eyes and almost had the urge to capture her lips again. But it wasn't the time for that. The guests were still waiting outside. It wasn't good for them to stay inside for so long.

So, with some reluctance, he pulled away. Thinking of the wedding night, he decided to have some control for now.

"Help me take these off," once he pulled away, Raelle started ordering him around naturally as she pointed at the heavy headdress. This jewelry was really heavy, her neck was getting stiff from all this weight.

Shui Xian didn't say anything and slowly started to take off all the jewelry that made her uncomfortable. After that, he also helped her out of the heavy red gown. Raelle took out thee champagne gold-colored gown and put it on. Shui Xian zipped it up for her and went to change into his own black suit too.

Then he called the stylists in and left the room to them.

The stylists didn't take long as they only had to change Raelle's hairstyle and make some minor adjustments to Raelle's makeup. After getting ready again, she opened the door and smiled at Shui Xian who was waiting outside the door for her. Unlike the red gown which was flowy, this champagne gold-colored gown was body hugging. It embraced Raelle's curves making them look even more alluring.

"How is it?" asked Raelle.

"Beautiful!"

"Don't you get tired of saying it?"

"I'll never get tired of saying it," replied Shui Xian as he took her hand. "I think I enjoy it more and more now to compliment you. Every time it makes me feel how blessed I am to have such a beautiful wife."

"Okay, okay. There is no need to continue."

"But I can continue," he told her.

"Hm?"

"I love you!"

"I know," she replied like she always did making Shui Xian laugh out loud.

It was just an answer he was very familiar with and was used to as well. But it filled his heart with different emotions every time. Before he could react, she kissed the side of his face standing on tip-toes.

"But you don't know much..."

"About what?"

"About the fact that..." her lips moved closer to his ears and her hot breath made him feel itchy. He resisted the urge to capture her waist and pull her closer, waiting patiently for her next words. "I love you too."

Shui Xian's eyes widened for a moment with a brilliance that wasn't seen often. The moonlight filtered through the leaves and the silvery moonlight caressed their frames as they stood gazing into each others' eyes full of love for each other.

He finally held her waist in his arms and pulled her close saying childishly, "But I still love you more."

"Is this a competition now?"

"I don't care. I just love you more."

"Okay, okay. I believe you. If I didn't believe you why would I be standing here?"

Shui Xian smiled at her and dropped a kiss at the corner of her mouth saying, "But I know that you love me very much. After all, only my love can make you go through all this. Who is in the world capable enough to make Raelle Xiang wear such heavy dress and go through this troublesome ceremony? Only I can do it."

"Feeling proud?"

"I'm on cloud nine."

"Don't fall."

"It's okay. I know you won't let me fall."
