Chapter 913: It’s Maddening
Chapter 913: It’s Maddening
After contacting Seth, Kael waved all the screens away. He had to find a way to handle the current dilemma; otherwise, he would be in serious trouble. No, he was already in serious trouble.
As Kael flew into the sky, his skin continued glowing and kept on getting brighter until Kael had literally turned into a human torch.
Despite the natural illumination of the golden sky around Kael, his glow was brighter.
Kael swerved into the sky, dashing up and leaving a bright trail of gold that cut through the fabric of reality.
Down below, Phoebe looked up with worry. Instantly, she was contacting the other Pride Sisters about what was happening.
Now, she didn’t need to do anything, though, because every lion right now was sensing the disturbance.
Long ago, Kael had installed a distress signal feature in the lion system, back when he was still weak and frail.
He created it to maximize the use of the system just in case he couldn’t ever protect himself. Because he tended to surround himself with other powerful lions, he hardly ever had the chance to use it.
The number of times the distress signal had been set off since he created it was not more than five.
It was meant to be activated when Kael was faced with danger that he alone could not handle.
And because Kael was the origin of all that the Lions had right now, the Leonine Heavenly Realm, the Alphaverse, their purpose, and their systems, it was normal that they would immediately flock over if they sensed the distress signal.
Alas, right now, Kael was in a very strange type of distress.
He was not being attacked, not really. More like he was suffering from overfeeding and there was no place to vomit or expel what he had inside.
This was definitely a danger that Kael was finding hard to handle on his own.
Detecting the activation of the distress signal, Kael toggled it with his mind, causing it to go off.
But it was that split second that they all heard and sensed it.
"Hmmm..." Kael’s eyes narrowed as he continued flying upward.
[Alert! False Alarm, the All-King is safe...]
Kael drafted a quick public message and went back to what he was doing.
If the Lions or Primordials who had received the distress signal decided to follow their instincts and rush over, they would spoil many plans that Kael already had in motion.
Everyone was right where he wanted them to be for now. They were doing what they were supposed to do for his grand plan to continue moving.
He could not allow them to leave their positions just for him.
Thinking of this, Kael put all his focus back on his body.
He was already thinking of a way to dispose of the massive amount of power that was flowing into his body.
Truthfully, Kael wanted to get stronger, that was always a primary objective for him. And he would devour the opportunity at whatever chance he got.
Already, he had been wondering if he would have to wait hundreds of thousands of years before he could have his next evolution like the rest.
Moving from the low-level immortal tier to mid level Immortal Tier was a stroke of luck. He had not known that having more than two hundred Primordials would trigger that evolution.
And now, more than eleven months later, Kael was seeing another forced evolution because he had crossed the one thousand mark.
This was an event that would have definitely warranted the Highest Will destroying him personally in the main universe.
Such things were an anomaly to be removed immediately.
But because it was happening in the Alphaverse, not many outside knew what was happening.
Even Reincarnation did not know what she was causing with her retaliation.
"Very well then," Kael said, his body stopped flying as he floated in the empty golden void.
He had flown so far that the Apex Pyramid below could no longer be seen properly.
Kael didn’t dare try to transform to his true form, that would just make things worse.
"Bring it all!" He shouted, his golden fangs exposed as he opened his eyes wide and let out a majestic roar that shook the space around him.
Kael’s body was starting to glow so much that it looked like he would blow up.
The All-King raised his left hand, he formed his hand into a flat knife palm and slashed the air in front of him.
Suddenly, the void was slashed open and a Dimensional System Portal was opened in front of Kael.
The shimmering edges, the translucent center, all of it glimmered brightly, shedding its light on the face of the All-King.
Through the Dimensional System Portal, Kael saw what was on the other side.
Fierce lion roars intertwined beautifully with the angry cries of dragons and other Felines.
Draconic Heaven.
The Dimensional System Portal led directly to the heart of the battlefield. Kael already had multiple of his forces there so he could literally open a portal to almost any place they were at.
Right now, through the portal, Kael could see that there were a lot of feline Assembly members here along with many dragons that flew by, attacking the fleet of lion arkships.
The vassals in this region were strangely absent which shouldn’t be so. Lions should be fighting with their vassals not too far off.
Either way, it didn’t matter, Kael had simply decided to open a Dimensional System Portal leading straight to Diane because he knew that Diane would be drowning happily in battle.
She was where the party was at.
"Go!" Kael waved his hand at the portal just as other creatures on the other side were starting to notice it.
Just as he said that, images started blurring around Kael, dissolving out of his body as they rushed straight at the portal.
Those images moved fast, crossing the portal into the Draconic Heaven before they had even finished forming.
As they moved, they carried with them the soul-crushing weight of a living calamity.
The portal, which was being supported by Kael’s own power, trembled as the images passed through. Evidence that all of them contained an incredibly dense amount of power within them.
By the time they had crossed through, all the images had finished forming and they revealed themselves to be massive golden lions.
One hundred.
One hundred lion clones of the All-King with every single one of them having ninety percent of his original power.
Right from the start, these clones were in their truck forms, unleashing all their auras as they sought to use every drop of excess energy the original body had.
Meanwhile, on the side of the Draconic Heaven, dread spread as all the nearby creatures within the surrounding one thousand light-years sensed the impossibly dangerous level of power.
In unison, they all directed their gazes at the place this ever-rising aura was coming from.
There, standing in front of an open portal to a paradise of golden skies was a group of one hundred massive golden lions.
Each lion was the size of a small continent, each strand of fur in their bodies was so thick that it was impossible to imagine.
One of them bared its sharp teeth as it looked around, showing long fangs the size of some mortal provinces.
As they moved, flexing their muscles and standing up on the crumbling void beneath them, their eyes scanned their surroundings.
Their gazes pierced the fabric of reality, crushing the spatial holdings just by looking at them.
The laws of the main universe reacted violently to their sudden appearance. Unfortunately, one thousand of those laws were now under the iron-clad control of an unstable rising Alpha God.
One third of the universe.
A full one-third of the elements that made up the universe were now under the control of the All-King.
An Apex.
The golden lion at the front attempted to stand straight and stepped its gigantic front paw down.
The silver sky of the Draconic Heaven was immediately tainted by a sickening golden hue.
*ROAR!*
One golden lion roared, holding his head up as a powerful shockwave spread from his body.
A chain reaction began to occur right after.
All the lions who heard that roar felt their blood boiling in their veins and their heads felt like it was you to explode.
Every single lion who heard that roar had their Lionhood Bar rise until it was filled to the brim.
It was crazy.
It was maddening.
It was unmistakably exciting.
In response, hundreds of thousands of lions, both the weak and strong ones, both mortals and Immortals, gave a roar back.
The clones of the All-King kept on roaring and the lions continued roaring back.
It was as if their enemies were not even there, drowned by the deafening noise of the tyrannical roars.
Unfortunately for the dragons and the feline Assembly, these roars of joy and exhilaration were not just emotionally charged.
