While the woman was seriously thinking about the question, Das sat on the stone platform beside her. He did not try to interrupt her or disturb her.
He got busy deciphering the background of the lady before him. The strange silence lasted for a long time, and the woman finally opened her mouth after thinking of a suitable answer to his question.
"Before answering your question, I want to know what you want to achieve in your life. Is it money, status, women, or any other thing?" The woman asked with a straight face while staring at Das.
"Stop questioning me in return. Tell me your answer now. Otherwise, we are done here." Das replied with a serious face.
"Its ok. Don't answer me if you don't like it. No one is forcing you. As for the answer to your question, I suggest you support the shadow clan while living your own life." The woman replied with a smile and stared at Das's face to see his reaction.
"Hmmhh... even that old woman ancestor would reply with the same thing. I thought you were different. But you are selfish and biased, like everyone else." Das replied with a loud smirk before getting up from his seat.@@@@
"Wait... wait... You still have not heard my full answer. Let me explain why I want you to support the shadow clan." The woman said it hurriedly as Das prepared to leave that place.
"What could you explain? Don't tell me the Shadow Clan offers me money and that oval-faced princess for supporting your clan. I don't have any interest in them." Das replied with a plain face.
"That's not it. You are not going to lose anything if you support the Shadow Clan. Think for a bit. Shadow clan is not only money and women. It is the family controlling the richest and most powerful countries in the world. Use that power to your advantage." The woman spoke in a loud tone without moving from the raised platform.
Das, who is preparing to leave, came to a sudden halt. Even though the woman is trying hard to convince him to support the shadow clan, there is some truth in her words. He is not going to lose anything by supporting the shadow clan.
"What about the Farus family and the Taurus family? Why do you think I can't get those two family heirlooms? I don't think those two families are stronger than your shadow clan." Das asked again while thinking of a plan.
"Yes, individually, those two families are not stronger than us. But if they join together...!" The woman did not continue after that sentence.
"What if they fought each other?" Das asked with a serious face.
"What do you mean?" The woman felt startled after hearing that question. The war between hidden families is not a joke. It affects the world's dynamics and topography.
"I'm just asking you a question. Why are you so surprised?" Das asked with a playful smile.
"I don't know what you are thinking. But the Farus and Taurus families have loyal spirits, and unlike my family, they completely subdued the weapon spirits of their family heirlooms. So, it is impossible for you to lay your hands on those two heirlooms." The woman replied with a serious face.
"That's not impossible, as you said. I just need a good plot to make these two families fight like archenemies." Das replied with a mysterious smile.
"What...?!!" Das took a moment to understand what he meant. Before she could ask another question, Das put an end to their conversation. He already had a plan in mind. There is no need to discuss any more secrets with this Shadow Clan woman.
"That's enough chitchat. Go and inform your husband to gather your clan members. I've already decided what to do with your clan." Das spoke in a loud tone and left the pond area without caring about her surprised face.
"He already found out my identity...!"
