Chapter 381 Starts and ends here.
Jeanne and the others came out of the rift and found themselves in that world, the world in which the sisters lived. They noticed the flames had disappeared and they saw Luciel standing on the ruined altar where she was sealed.
"This is where it all started, and this place will be how it all ends as well," Luciel said as she looked at her own reflection on the sword.
Rozan summoned his dragon through a portal, the dragon that contributed a lot during the war. The dragon that almost single-handedly defeated one of the sisters and its power was on par with Sven and the others.
Luciel stared at the dragon and she hated that creature as she hated Jeanne and the others. She then whistled loudly that it echoed throughout the vast sky. Not long after that, the same dragon that Victoria and Javelin fought landed right behind Luciel.
The dragon was created after the war, the dragon was supposed to be able to match Rozan's dragon. What made Anathiel's dragon different was the fact it wasn't made of flesh and bones, it was made with resentment and anger that materialized. The dragon was the masterpiece of the sisters since they poured a lot of effort into making it.
"Such a beautiful creature," Luciel reached out her hand at the dragon's head which was as big as a football stadium. "A final gift from my sisters," she caressed the dragon's nose, making the dragon feel pleased.
The tar-like gooey substance that covered the dragon's body should be able to melt anything. But Luciel was fine because she was built differently and she had always been different from the rest.
"A price for greatness," Luciel swung her sword around and suddenly stabbed herself in the heart. "The final ingredient to make you perfect," she pulled out which looked like a heart but it was so bright that nobody could tell what it was.
Luciel offered it to the dragon, and when the dragon sniffed it, it opened its mouth. She put the heart on the dragon's tongue and then the dragon swallowed it, making the others wonder what would happen to the dragon.
The dragon started to act weirdly by flapping its wings and tail as if it was in pain but excited at the same time. The truth was the dragon was undergoing an evolution to its final form and had reached the peak of its existence.
The dragon roared as it pointed its mouth at the sky, and then it started to rip its own skin off. It looked like the dragon was shedding itself, and while it was busy ripping its chest, a bright light was sipping out from inside. The dragon then suddenly released a beam of white light into the sky, turning the sky into blinding white.@@@@
Everyone was looking up and suddenly they noticed that something was falling toward them. Shelly and Rozan created barriers to protect them, but to their surprise, the barriers shattered as soon as they were formed. A spear made of light pierced through the barrier and Gunnar had to block it with his shield.
"More are coming!" Rozan shouted and warned the others.
Rather than blocking the spears, they all decided to spread and dodged the spears that tried to hit them. The spear was made of corrupted divine power, something that had never existed before. The legendary Sacrilege Flame was in the form of light and would burn and melt anything into nothingness.
"How are we going to do that?" Rozan asked as he looked at the others who were as clueless as him. "A single mistake is enough to get ourselves killed," he pointed out as he observed the dragon and tried to find its weaknesses.
"How much time do you need?" Aurea asked as she stared at the dragon.
"As much as you could provide," Rozan answered and noticed that Aurea was preparing to release her full power. That meant she was going into a mindless stage, making her immune to anything but he wondered if it would work on the Sacrilege Flame. "Are you sure you want to do this?" He raised his eyebrows.
"Do we have a choice? I was planning to fight Ciel with this but looks like I will use this on that thing. I don't mind as long as I can have fun," Aurea answered as her body started to release black smoke. "You better get away from me or you will be used as my playthings," she warned as she started to lose her sanity.
Everyone went as far as they could because they were afraid of Aurea's power which could almost beat Beldathiel with it. Beldathiel was supposed to be invincible if her power was undisturbed, but Aurea managed to overwhelm her during the war.
Jeanne was clashing her sword with Luciel's, destroying their surroundings and turning the whole world upside down. She tried so hard to land a single hit because it was all it took to make Luciel lose some of her power. Unfortunately, her speed and strength were no match for Luciel, making her seem like a harmless opponent.
"You're stupid enough to fight me on your own," Luciel swung her sword and clashed it with Jeanne's sword. "You're lucky to have that power..." She paused to dodge because Jeanne's sword went through her sword. "But for how long? I'm prepared to die, what about you?" She continued and kicked Jeanne away from her.

"I have nothing to lose, and you have everything to lose. Whatever the outcomes might be, as long as I killed some of you, this world will end in chaos," Luciel pointed out as she looked at Jeanne's condition which slowly worsened.
Luciel wasn't wrong about that and Jeanne knew about it and tried to kill her before she could revive. If she died, the order would disappear as well, the Mother might be able to keep the peace, but it wouldn't last forever. The stakes were a lot heavier than she predicted and the longer they were in that situation, the more likely Luciel was to get what she wanted.
"It's over, you have no chance..." Luciel readied her stance, but before she could make a move, she felt like her chest was being torn apart.
Jeanne who was surprised by Luciel's groan made her look back and saw the dragon was roaring. She saw Aurea in her total madness form standing on top of the dragon's head, unaffected by the Sacrilege Flame. At that moment she believed that everything would be okay as long as everyone did their best.
"Nothing is determined until it's really over," Jeanne readied her stance and stared at Luciel with a cold expression. "You thought the same thing back then, and what happened after that? Your pride made you lose," she said.
"You have no idea what's happening right now," Luciel smirked after she recovered. "I pity you for your ignorance," she added.
