Chapter 212 Goddess of Mischievous.
Chapter 212 Goddess of Mischievous.
"Do you think you're the only one who has your back, Nyx?" Baduhenna asked and her voice echoed throughout Mount Olympus. "The abyss won't scare me," Baduhenna chuckled.
Nyx could hear her children's voices, and they were all screaming in pain at the sound of flesh being ripped apart. The crows were so loud, but then it became silent, not a single voice, not even the wind could be heard.
The darkness suddenly was lifted, or to be precise, it was sent back to where it came from. When the light came back, Nyx could see a woman, in a dark purple dress with a gold circlet on her head with her long curly bright orange hair. The woman was standing right behind Baduhenna, wrapping her arms around Baduhenna's neck.Nôv(el)B\\jnn
"Bringing someone else into your own battle is not wise," The woman said and stared at Nyx with her bright purple eyes.
"Nal..." Nyx furrowed her eyebrows.
"You're playing a dangerous game, you know?" Nal looked at Baduhenna with her eyebrows raised. "Remember where we are right now. So play nicely, okay?" Nal asked with a mischievous smile and gently flicked Baduhenna's nose with her index finger.
Nal snapped her fingers and sent the heads of Nyx's children back to their mother. Nyx was surprised, but it was a nice surprise, and then Nal disappeared after she was done with what she came for.
"I have another place to visit. I'll see you again soon, Nyx, "Baduhenna smirked and then the crows wrapped her body and disappeared into thin air.
The peace had come back, and everyone around the world could breathe easily again. That short fight was enough to bring the whole Earth to the brink of destruction. At that point, Shanka, and all the Chosen Ones that they thought the Gods they served were strong came to the realization that they were nothing.
Sasha was sitting on the bench in the park where nobody else survived from Elena. She had no idea where Ansel and the others were, and she didn't remember how long she had been sitting there. She snapped back to reality after the fierce fight between Nyx and Baduhenna.
"Have you come back to your sense?" A woman's voice could be heard behind Sasha. "I'm worried about you that I have to protect you the past two days from that child," she added.
Sasha hummed as she nodded her head and stared at the park in front of her.
"Why are you doing this?" Sasha asked and didn't bother to look back at the person she was talking to.
"Which question are you referring to? Even if you asked that question, you already know the answer since you have written it," The woman answered as her footsteps could be heard moving left and right behind the bench. "You're free now since you have found all the answers to your doubts and the truth. But when the time comes, you don't have to be afraid. I'll always find a path for you," she continued.
"Borr and Bestla? They're fine. They have found their own peaceful place. That also applies to me and my husband, but knowing you both are scheming to destroy Earth so you can become one of us, you only put yourself and all of us in danger," Nal sighed as she stood up. "You may have our knowledge, but your mind and body aren't the greatest. You're only digging your own grave. Now that we have nothing to discuss, I have somewhere else to go," Nal warned as she looked at Odin and then walked away.
"It's better than following the string that has been threaded," Odin said with a serious expression and stared back at Nal.
"A small fish thinks he's not afraid of the ocean because he has been living his whole life in a small pond, knowing when and how he will die. That's quite logical," Nal smiled as she kept walking. "But in the world, we are living in, logic doesn't apply to us," Nal looked over her shoulder to look at Odin and then disappeared.
Loki collapsed, but she managed to stop her fall after Hel helped her stand up. Loki didn't know much about her parents because they both had gone when she was a baby. Odin knew everything about her parents, even he didn't know how unpredictable and mischievous Nal was.
"What happened to you?" Odin asked Loki.
Loki shook her head with a weak smile, and then she left, leaving Hel alone with Odin. Odin had a gut that something had happened to Loki and she tried to hide it from him.
"What a mischievous family," Odin said as he sighed with relief that the threat had disappeared.
Nal was walking so casually, but each step of her foot sent her a dozen miles away. She could sense someone was following her, and then she reached out her hand and in an instant Loki was in her grasp.
"What are you doing?" Nal asked with suspicion.
"I want to know where you go. Are you going to meet with Mykel?" Loki asked.
"Why would I? I'm going to meet with the group of demons over there," Nal answered as she looked at the United Kingdom's continent.
"Why would you go there?" Loki asked.
"The enemy of my enemy is my ally. The ally of my enemy is my enemy," Nal answered as she kept walking. "The more enemy I have, the more ally I'll get," Nal added.
Loki furrowed her eyebrows and that was the first time she couldn't read a scheme even though the clue had been given to her. She realized and understood where exactly all of her personalities came from.
"You're too young to understand, my daughter. But don't you worry, child. I'm going to play my own game, not join an existing game," Nal said as she chuckled mischievously.
