Chapter 160 Make a move.

Anzel was staring at his reflection in the mirror, and he noticed that something was off about his face. He stared at his own eyes and it looked like he was staring at strangers, and the longer he looked, the more weird his face became. Suddenly a knock on the door made him snap back to reality and he stopped looking at himself in the mirror.

"What?" Anzel asked as he looked at Luis who was standing in front of the door.

"I'm just checking on you. I thought you might need someone to talk to," Luis answered as he followed Anzel back to his seat on the private jet. "I'm sorry to hear about your friend, and I know how you feel and I want to help, you know? I want to fight them like you do," Luis added as he sat behind Anzel's seat.

"Fight them? I want to kill them. They have lost their humanity, and they belong to hell," Anzel said as he clenched his fists. "I want to rip their hearts apart and burn them to ashes," Anzel continued.

His words made everyone worried and uncomfortable because he didn't sound like the Anzel they knew. They knew that he was blinded by rage from what he saw, and they understood that, but his anger scared them.

"I heard everything, so what did she mean by you guys are chosen by angels?" Lucifer asked and pretended to be curious.

"That's none of your business, and whatever you heard, keep it to yourself," Sasha said as she glanced at Lucifer.

Lucifer raised his eyebrows and he pretended to be shocked after he heard Sasha's reply. He then nodded his head, but then he looked at Anastasia, Gea, and Eun Soo. He could see those three would tell him anything, and he thought he could bring three more to his side.

When they landed in England, Sasha was invited by Lucifer to go back to the castle of Redshield. Since she had no place to go, and they had nothing to do, she accepted the invitation and went to the castle with the others.

"What's that skyscraper over there? That looks new," Luis asked as he looked at the only skyscraper in the city.

"That's the Eurasia Guild branch, one of the five branches. They have one in the United Kingdom, one in Germany, one in Singapore, one in India, and one in China. The guild is getting bigger and bigger as we speak, and the United Nations is supporting them so it's not a surprise that they could build that fancy building," Gea answered as she looked at the skyscraper.

Everyone was talking about the Eurasia Guild and the five leaders of that guild. They had never met them all in person, and rumor said that the five of them had a grudge against the Rebirth Guild. One of the rumors that people around the world knew about was that the five of them could combine their powers and create something godlike.

Although the Eurasia Guild was the biggest guild with so many Awakeners and Chosen Ones, they were quite secretive about themselves. The rumors could be true or false, and before they were confirmed that they were true or false, people would believe them.

"We never tried, but I guess we will find out now?" Eun Soo asked as she looked at Anastasia and Gea.

The three of them tried to communicate with the angels, but after they waited for a whole minute for a response, they didn't get anything. They had given up and told Lucifer that they couldn't do it, and they looked a bit disappointed. Lucifer was smiling and comforting them, and that made them forget about it and just moved on.

"So, Eric. Are you seeing someone?" Anastasia boldly asked which shocked Gea and Eun Soo.

"Seeing someone? No. I don't have anyone," Lucifer shook his head as he shyly smiled at them. "I never thought about that since I was quite a busy man, and I don't have the time to look for one either right now," Lucifer said as he looked at Anastasia.

"Do you have any preference?" Gea asked with curiosity.

"No. I don't have any, and I'm not that picky," Lucifer answered.

The three of them looked at each other and realized they might have a head start. But his answers weren't enough to convince them because they wanted to know the important thing.

"What do you think about Sasha, Eric?" Eun Soo asked.

"Sasha? She's mature and independent. Also, she's beautiful even though she always looked at me with disgust for some reason," Lucifer answered and jokes about the last part with a soft chuckle. "I don't think she would like to be around me, but she keeps it professional when it comes to work, so I admire her," Lucifer continued as he smiled and stared blankly at his right foot that he rested on his left knee.

Hearing that made the three of them glad, and found out that Lucifer had no hope for Sasha. They started to make a move on Lucifer and tried their best to get him as they competed against each other.

"I'm sorry, ladies. I feel like I wasted your time by accompanying me for hours. How about I excuse myself so you guys can rest?" Lucifer asked as he stood up and looked at them. "Although, I'm honored and blessed to be able to have you all for myself for the evening," Lucifer pointed out as he put his left hand on his chest.

"We don't mind, really. In fact, we would love to talk with you more, so can we have dinner together later?" Gea asked as she looked at Lucifer full of hope. Stay updated via empire
