aiden crossed the portal and immediately opened his status. he wanted to see what had changed. he wanted to see what he had gotten from meeting one of the five gods.
he still couldn't believe that such a peak of power existed. however, he was happy to have discovered it right away as he now had a much bigger goal than before.
the founding families would be nothing more than child play compared to defeating the five gods. it would be terribly complicated to beat them. however, defeating them would take a lot of time, and more importantly a lot more strength, which meant that aiden would have to do two different things.nôv(el)b\\jnn
first of all, he would have to go into as many trials as possible, accomplishing them as fast as he could. by doing this, he would level up and become stronger as a result. and then he would have to learn everything that jake knew about qi because, as far as he had seen, jake was the only one on nova who had mastered such an energy.
'actually...can't i have access to better teachers?' aiden thought as he remembered a system function that he had unlocked.
the power to go back to all the worlds he had previously taken a trial on.
wouldn't he be able to go back to the world where cultivation was such a major part of it?

jake kept piling up the number of questions as he wasn't letting aiden answer even a single one of them. it was quite annoying, but there was nothing he could do about it.

"she didn't tell me anything because i refused to look at her, and when she realized i wouldn't do anything... she decided to let me go as if nothing had just happened."
"she let you go? just like that? without doing anything at all?"
'well, she did kiss me,' aiden thought as his face became red just by thinking of her name.
he could feel himself getting aroused just by thinking of her name.
he wasn't sure yet, but the interactions he had had with her would bring a lot of problems with his current relationship with emma.
'will i still find her attractive?' aiden thought as jake reminded him of the conversation.
"hello? are you still there? did something happen between the two of you before you left?"
"no, nothing happened. she just let me go after trying to make me fall under her power."
"hm..." jake rubbed his chin, thinking about everything that had just happened. "so that's it, you didn't receive anything from her?"
jake made sure one last time that nothing weird had happened in between the time ariel had taken control of him.
"yes. i didn't get anything from anyone. well, this wasn't all for nothing. i learned a lot of things from this trip to the lumithar's world. so, thank you for everything!" aiden exclaimed.
